The International Conference Planning in The Era of Uncertainty (ICPEU) is organized and hosted by Regional and Urban Planning Department, Engineering Faculty, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. This year we will hold the 6th ICPEU on August 2023.
The biennual ICPEU commit for fostering vibrant exchanges and collaborations among academics, practitioners, policy makers, and communities in dealing with Global South and its issues. The diversity within the region indicates that the perspective might need to be rectified. There is poverty, basic services issue, mobility, equity, informality, until gap among rural and urban within the region. This conference aims to gather the current trends and out-of-the-box perspective in Desa (village), Kutha (city), and the interactions between these two. Desa and Kutha are two poles of development dependent on each other. We believe that by looking over the classic understanding of providing resources and distributions between urban and rural, we are looking to deepen the comprehension of the dynamics among them. In the 2023, The 6th ICPEU will be conducted under the theme of “Global South: Desa, Kutha, and the Conversations in Between”. The prospective authors are kindly encouraged to share and contribute the knowledge-values into the 19 related sub-themes.
