Prof. Kiyoshi Kobayashi
Prof. Kiyoshi Kobayashi is a Professor at the Kyoto University Graduate School of Engineering. And Collaborative Research Chair for Asian Business Leader Development.
He has also been an Assistant Professor at the Kyoto University Faculty of Engineering, Associate Professor and Professor at the Tottori University Faculty of Engineering. He earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering at Kyoto University (1976), earned M.Sc. from Kyoto University (1978), and obtained his PhD from Kyoto University (1984). Prof. Kiyoshi has received several accolades and awards for his research. He is also included in the Top 50 City Creators and Urban Experts of the Ministry of the Environment of Denmark.
He has also participated in many organizations, which are the Council Member of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport National Land Development; Committee Member of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Infrastructure; Member of the Transport Policy Council of Japan; President of Japan Society of Civil Engineers; Vice Editor-in-Chief, J. of American Society of Civil Engineering; President of Applied Regional Science Conference; Member of the Science Council of Japan Coalition; President of Japan Association of Asset Management (JAAM); Visiting Fellow for IIASA, OECD and World Bank.
